Product description
Bray offers a state-of-the-art, modular, self-contained electro-hydraulic actuator designed to meet a wide variety of valve automation needs. Fully configurable, it is optimized for direct mounting on Bray valves but can also be easily retrofitted to other valve types.
The actuator includes an efficient, integrated hydraulic power unit that can be mounted directly on the actuator body or placed on a separate floor stand to operate one or multiple hydraulic valve cylinders. It supports a flexible range of power sources, including solar-powered systems, making it ideal for remote or off-grid locations.
Hydraulic valve control offers major advantages over conventional pneumatic or electric actuators, including higher thrust and torque, fast response times, failsafe options (spring or accumulator), and precise, repeatable valve positioning. The closed-loop hydraulic system ensures zero exhaust emissions—eliminating the environmental impact seen with pneumatic or gas-powered systems.
The actuator operates reliably in extreme environments, with a temperature range from -50°F (-46°C) to 212°F (+100°C).
